Chris Denicola, a Scout with Troop 322 and a senior at Central High School, designed and built a flag retirement box for our community. You may now place your old, tattered and worn American flags inside the box that is placed outside city hall at 13421 Hooper Rd. Suite 8. Thank you to Mayor Wade Evans, CCSS Superintendent Jason Fountain, Councilman Josh Roy, and Veteran Perry Whitney for their attendance to this special ceremony.

The Central Community School System was recognized as a Models of Excellence recipient by the Louisiana Department of Education.
