- NWS will be sending a more thorough briefing packet this afternoon on the temperatures and possible winter weather for next week.
- It will get cold Monday and likely persisting much if not the whole week.
- The risk to exposed pipes will be a concern due to prolonged freezing temperatures and lows possibly dropping into the mid-20s or lower for numerous locations. Some areas may struggle to get above freezing for a day or two.
- There is a risk of winter weather, and that risk is slowly increasing.
- At this time, it is too early to tell if it will be snow, sleet, freezing rain, or a mix of all three.
- May begin as early as overnight Monday/Tuesday and could last into Wednesday
- This is still 6-8 days out so things will likely be very fluid and there could be significant changes over the next few days.
