- Currently there is a slight risk of heavy rainfall. 2-5” of rainfall with locally higher amounts possible are forecasted for our area Sunday through Tuesday.
- High rainfall rates could result in ponding of water in low lying areas and localized flash flooding.

WHAT:SLIGHT RISK of Heavy Rain that could lead to flash flooding
WHEN: Sunday night through midday Tuesday
WHERE: All of southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi
CONFIDENCE: We are confident in the occurrence of widespread showers and a few embedded thunderstorms. We have less confidence in the exact amounts and locations of the heaviest rain.
Impacts:
- Rainfall of 2 to 5 inches is currently forecast for much of the area, with some potential for isolated rainfall totals exceeding 6 inches.
- High rainfall rates could result in ponding of water in low lying areas and localized flash flooding.
