There is a Marginal Risk of Severe Weather this afternoon through the evening.
The main threats associated with these storms will be gusty winds and hail. As this system moves in, a front will stall over the area which could cause additional storms later today.
The current hourly forecast shows rain moving into the area in the next hour, with heavier rainfall coming in several rounds.
Rainfall totals of ¼” are expected, but higher amounts are possible.
Tomorrow has a chance of showers, with heavier thunderstorms possible after 1:00 PM.
Impacts:
The main threats associated with any severe storms will be:
· Wind gusts greater than 60 mph will be possible.
· Hail greater than 1 inch will be possible.
· In addition to the severe weather threat, locally heavy rainfall will be possible with stronger storms
