Please see the below weather update and attached briefing package from the National Weather Service (NWS) New Orleans / Baton Rouge.

• EBRP is under a Flood Watch from 7:00 PM tonight through 7:00 AM Saturday morning.
• 2-3 Rounds of Severe Weather and Heavy Rain starting Tonight through Saturday morning.
• Round 1: 7:00 PM tonight through 4:00 AM early Friday morning
• 1-3” of rainfall with locally higher amounts possible.
• Slight risk of severe weather and all modes of severe weather are possible.
• Depending on how the first-round forms, the NWS is anticipating a break in the rainfall from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Friday. However, there is still a lot of uncertainty in the current forecast and continuous showers are possible.
• Round 2: 4:00PM Friday through early morning hours Saturday.
• 1-3” of rainfall with locally higher amounts possible.
• Slight risk of severe weather and all modes of severe weather are possible.
• Our area is forecasted to receive 4-6” of rainfall with locally higher amounts possible tonight through Saturday morning. 
• Drier weather is forecasted for the weekend.
